I understand having about 10 minutes for mile 1. Then about 10 minutes for mile 2. Then about 10 minutes for mile 3. And a very short 0.1 miles to finish it.

Yeah, my app breaks down the splits as per mile pace instead of total time. Which comes out the same for whole miles obviously, but yeah, can be confusing for that last little bit.

I could do math to figure up what the total time for that last little part was, but it's too early in the morning for that.

Oooh. Your pace for the last 0.1 miles was like 9mins, but that wasn't your real time. That's where I was lost. Makes sense now.

Correct. I think a little old lady on a walker could go .1 miles in 9 minutes.

I played basketball last week and my knee held up. So I guess it's better. I've started jogging this week. My dad has been walking everyday for weeks and I can't let the old man outdo me.

Did you not say that you were rejoining the national guard?

I thought about it but I've decided against it. The negatives outweigh the positives.

Signed up for the Saints opening 5k run. Short run, should be a good time. Run goes through the French Quarter, into the Superdome, runs through the same tunnel the players do, and finishes on the 50yd line. Nice finishers medal.

Only decision: do I complete the run in Broncos gear or not.

So BTB inspired me (to start running again, not to suck dick)....started the couch to 5k yesterday.

Ultimate goal is to run 1/2 marathon in sixish months or so.

    That's awesome.

Why not pay for my flight, let me stay at your house and I will run it with you
