Try Beijing lol. I have an image in my head of an eight-lane highway packed with bikes.

I LOVE running on the beach when I get a chance. I was in San Diego early November and ran Coronado Beach. Since I was used to being at altitude running at sea level made me feel 10 years younger. Plus it was cool to see all the fighter planes taking off over head.

5 miles "for the cause" on the westbank Mississippi levee across from the 9th Ward area. Saw the Domino sugar factory across the river, hadn't noticed it before. If you're wondering, the cause is getting myself in better shape. I feel like I've put on a couple too many pounds and it's time to lean up again.

Ditto, an injury then this move had been brutal for my fitness!!

Although I now live about 7 miles from where I work, so I'm planning on running and cycling a lot.

In San Francisco for the week. I'll be running the bay trail today and tomorrow, a park Thursday, the Golden Gate Bridge on Friday.

South, near the airport at embassy suites off the 101. Actually a nice spot right on the bay. The unit is in San Bruno so I decided to stay closer to them.

I don't know who's bright idea running up this ******* mountain behind my hotel was. Ok, it was mine, it sucked, but it had a great payoff. I blame Dave for how bad my lower back feels right now.

Rough run, but worth it. Across the bridge and up the mountain to Battery Spencer, a WWII defense position.

5.26 miles total. Great run. Not sure if I enjoyed this or the Brooklyn- Manhattan run more.

Forgot how much I truly enjoy Camp Pendleton. The running trails are second to none, nevermind the fact that I'm running past Marines in the field doing their thing. Anyhow, I left the base lodging facility and went straight on to the trails for a planned 4 mile run. Wound up getting ti the turnaround point and deciding to go further, ran 7 miles total, best pace for a run over 5 since I broke my foot last year. Here's a pic I snapped on the trail. Foggy morning, thick marine layer.

I put 65 miles on the road bike doing a loop around Denver through Golden back to Littleton. Can't really run yet, impact on left knee is still unfun. But...I did see my neighbor in downtown Denver, she must have been running a 26+ miler for fun. She's a serious runner...like...cross country coach at local HS (both her and her hubby), winner of many local races. Older than me.

I'm getting back into it, the fitness thign.
