It is the day after my first run in a few months and my first run in a long time wearing bare foot runners.

My calf muscles are so sore - lol

Running front foot as opposed to heel striking really changes the muscles groups used to control your body.

I've a friend who runs barefoot. You're a freak Dave. He wears these things that look like poly-coated socks.

I jest Dave, I need to be motivated like you.

    6 miles - 58.09 minutes

Rehab coming along nicely, felt good.

Today I ran under a fell tree and over a stream using stepping stones.

I love living here - it's beautiful and great for running.

Here are some pics from the area I ran today (i drove back with my camera after I got home - the pics do not do it justice)

At the crest of a hill that I came to, it really cheered me up as I just just ran about half a mile up a hill to get there, but the view was worth it.

That's only about 4 miles from my house.

Beautiful. Everything looks so lush and green. Is the weather generally like that or does it rain alot?

It's been nice recently but it won't last.

    It rains a lot here.

    6 miles - 55.47 mins

    A nice flat route today.

The first 5 miles were ran in about 9.5 minute miles and it was very comfortable so I opened the last mile up a bit to about an 8 minute mile pace and that felt good too.

Yoga had definitely helped my hip/butt/ham string.

Going to keep it about this pace and distance for another month.

That's still three more miles than I'll ever run on purpose.

Gonna hit up biking real soon. Still in recovery mode but I'm going to bike my ass off here in the next couple weeks. I'm working on getting go pro camera or a bike mount for my galaxy s5.

Only time I like to run is on a treadmill, at the gym, surrounded by a bunch of hot sweaty women. I like to think each step gets me closer to the *****.
