For those who felt using the word probable in Wells' report, did not really conclude that Brady knew anything - this article is written by a person who covers sports law
rest - http://www.forbes.com/sites/ericmacr...-of-tom-brady/It’s more probable than not that Tom Brady is in deep trouble.
Lawyer Ted Wells’ investigation into Deflategate has concluded that “it is more probable than not” that Patriots locker room attendant Jim McNally and Patriots equipment assistant John Jastremski deliberately released air from footballs after the balls were examined by the referees. The report also concludes that “it is more probable than not” that Brady “was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities of McNally and Jastremski”.
It may seem that qualifying Brady’s involvement as “more probable than not” isn’t terribly decisive or conclusive. That, however, is not the case. It’s in fact quite the opposite. Wells has delivered a pointed indictment of Brady.
At law, the “probable” language invokes the standard of proof in civil cases, which is met if it is more likely than not that something is true. So based on the evidence as whole, Wells believes that it is likely that Brady, McNally and Jastremski conspired to deflate those footballs.

Carol, thank you for that article. Everyone has heard of probable cause, and the word probable is much stronger in some contexts than these clam chowder eating buffoons would have us believe.
