Default Fowler Jr with a possible torn ACL

Apparently he injured himself at Jaguars practice. No link yet.

There's a little video there below the blurb.

Brutal. ACL tears so damn often it's ridiculous.

So did he sign his rookie contract? I would see on the crawl that player x has signed his contract.

If he didnt, what happens to him?

I read that he signed an injury guarantee, which essentially means he can't be penalized in contract negotiations because he's hurt. Rookie deals are fairly standard and I don't think the Jags could refuse to sign him

I think the Cards lost something like 4 starters, including a PBer, before opening day last year.

That really sucks. Hoping and wishing he has a full and speedy recovery.

I seem to remember about ten years or so ago there was a rookie who was killed in car accident before training camp started. Believe he might have been drafted by the Jets, but not sure. In light of that horrible tragedy, hopefully Fowler is able to return to his per-injury form and continue to play in the NFL for a nice long career.
Too bad she doesn't cheer for the Patriots dressed like this

Seems like there have been more and more injuries during OTAs, training camp, the pre-season and the season than ever before, and yet the NFL wants to add two more games to the season. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
