Default Tebow reaches agreement with Eagles

Per Adam Shefter. He joins a crowded Eagles QB roster and will compete. Lets see if he can make it through camp without getting cut.

Sanchez looks alot better than he did then when he was with the Jets.

Bradford, if he can stay healthy, can be a damn good QB. He most likely will win the job.

Tebow has more heart than both of them combined. All I've been reading is how he has been working to get better. In a Chip Kelly offense he might just shock some teams.

If you're an Eagles fan then preseason should be fun to watch.

Awesome. If he stays on the roster, Chip will find a way to use him. I'm starting to like the Eagles more every day.

Expected to sign tomorrow. He didn't go to the veteran combine and looks like that was a good move for him.

I think they got better at RB. Murray is better than McCoy.

I think this means Kelly realizes he has no chance of trading for Marriota, you don't bring Tebow anywhere near that team if you had a chance at a longterm answer.

Gotta admit I'll be interested to see if he can complete passes now in preseason with his supposed "fixed" throwing motion.

We will find out very quickly in his case. He looked God-Awful with the Pats and Jets. Like Jamarcus inaccurate bad.

I don't even think he has to pass all that well. He can throw better than a running back and he can do well in the red zone. Seems worth a roster spot. Except for the media coverage. But they may be too focused on Johnny Football.

I think people are really overrating what Tebow's media coverage will be at this point. He was basically anonymous in New England. Now a few years later, Tebowmania will pretty much be gone IMO. As you said, with shiny new toys like Manziel to cover, Tebow is yesterday's news. And honestly, that's the best thing for his career. He can make his spot on a roster somewhere without his fans ruining his career.

Jason LaCanfora with an interesting tweet just now. Makes a lot of sense.

"Very smart NFL exec posited this about Tebow/Chip Kelly. With extra point maybe gone and replaced w/play from the 1yrd line, Tebow a fit..."
