Default North's Final Mock Draft of the 2015 season

So, what do you think? Ended up taking more SEC players than i thought i would have but its just kind of how it worked out this time. Got some players there that i think are sleepers and could benefit the team in the long run for sure.

    28) Cameron Erving OT/G/C- Florida St
    59) Benardrick McKinney, LB- Mississippi State (trade 2nd and 5th, pick 164 to Clev #43)
    92) Michael Bennett, DT- Ohio St
    133) Jarvis Harrison, G- Texas A&M
    143) Damiere Byrd, WR- South Carolina
    203) Randall Telfer, TE USC
    250) Connor Neighbors, FB- LSU
    251) Terry Williams, DT- East Carolina
    252) Jake Smith, C/G- Louisville

*IF* (major conditional) Erving and McKinney are both there, I'm great with that. The rest of the draft is "Meh" but there's a lot of guys I still don't know yet.

BTW, anyone can go to Fanspeak.com and do their own role-play mocks. Pay a little for premium, and you can make trades.

I don't know enough about the later round guys to comment, but I like the idea of trading up in the 2nd. Getting both Erving and McKinney would be a huge success, regardless of the rest of the draft, IMO.

I don't know much about the later picks but 1-4 is a ******* slamdunk. And to honest I think the values are realistic, according to NFLDraft Scouts rankings.

Michael Bennett falling to the third round is really optimistic.

Probably, Walter's had him going between rounds 1-3 so i was just using that as my guide. The draft is a crapshoot anyway so anything can happen.

I'm confused by the Cleveland trade. Are you saying we draft him at 43?

Really like first few picks. And it even includes a trade up in the second which I think Elway should do it get better value. We do not need 10 picks on roster, prob end up cutting a few anyways.

Well done North. I like it.

Two things stand out to me.

1- Only have us taking 1 TE and no QB....We will almost assuredly take two TEs...and it seems like we want a QB as well.
2- Love Damiere Byrd. I had us nabbing him as a UDFA. You have him in the 5th. One of us is off.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Yea, we trade our current 2nd rounder (59) and one of our 5th's to move up to 43.

Yea, Walter's has him as a FA too but im always of the thought if you like a player take him. I think Byrd will be a sure sleeper pick no matter who ends up with him.

I agree with that 100%. Value is only as a measuring stick. The ultimate value team never wins at anything. The ultimate badass team takes the trophy every time.

That makes sense, and I like it. I don't see him being available at the end of the 2nd. He might go in the first, especially with all of the teams needing LB's this year. Pitt, SF, AZ, and Denver should all be thinking LB in the early rounds.

NFL Draft Scout has Bennett going around the 2nd and 3rd round too, he still has not worked for NFL teams.

As for TE's and QB's, this isn't the draft to be looking for those positions, this is the weakest draft for those in years. Drafting Waller and making him to a move TE is intriguing tho.
