    Comparing players from one era to another and saying they could or couldn't play in another era is really unfair and not good sports analysis. That goes for all sports, not just basketball. Saying Steve Nash couldn't play ball in the 70s with those dudes absolutely does not take away from the fact that when he played he was one of the best point guards around. You can't determine a player's greatness by whether or not they could play in a different era because literally the only thing you have concrete evidence to go off of is how well he played when he played. Period. The rest is pure speculation.

    Eh, if you want to say I'm speculating that's fine. It's just that...well...he was a small and finesse point guard who was not known for being tenacious. He wore down at the end of the season, often times lagged in the playoffs, and he just wasn't a fierce competitor. What I'm saying is as common sense as it gets, and yeah, his numbers are inflated because of his era. Sportswriters wanted a white star so bad that they invented one.
