Other than possible ligament damage and we have adequate depth and talent already at the position, not to mention that there are several other better needs the Broncos could fill with a first round player, I totally see your point.
What high draft pick RB did Kubiak use to take the Ravens to the playoffs last year after Ray Rice got dumped?
Why spend money when you don't have to?
Ball was a 2nd round pick.
And the rest of your post is beside the point, I already said the Broncos are set at RB. My point is about talent and the better the talent the better the system, some backs get what's blocked and some backs actually make the system better, and if there's one thing I know about this ZBS is it has fatal flaws when you try to get by with scrub talent. If people don't get that about this system they weren't paying attention.
There's also the attitude Gurley would bring, he's a lot like Marshawn Lynch, who is irreplaceable to the Seahawks players.
Broncos fans like scrubs, cool beans, but personally I will never understand why so many fans take so much pride in scrubs.
Btw, for those mistaking the reasons Arian Foster went undrafted, it had nothing to do with talent. He's Bryce Brown and Isaiah Crowell in that they had all the ability you could want for but just never got their shit together. Foster got a 2nd round grade from Advisory Board as a Jr. but decided to return for Sr. season.
