Brandon Marshall might not be long for the Chicago Bears.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Bears are exploring a potential trade of the talented wide receiver, according to a source informed of the team's plans. The effort to move Marshall is an attempt by new general manager Ryan Pace and coach John Fox to "clean up the locker room," according to Rapoport.

Marshall signed a four-year contract with the Bears last May, but appears to have fallen out of favor with the team following a 2014 season in which he was outspoken with the press and on social media and was involved in a well-publicized locker room incident during the season.

So a third coaching staff is now tired of his act. (4th if the report about Shanny almost cutting him is true). Interesting.

He might be starting to fade a bit as a player as well. Big drop in his stats in '14.

The trade, which cannot become official until free agency opens Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, will also rely on Marshall passing a physical.

We got 2 2nd round picks for him. I think the Dolphins got 2 3rds. Bears got a 5th rounder.

I think they got marshall, because they are going to release Harvin since he is due 10mil or something like that. I forgot where I heard that. Maybe satellite radio.

Harvin, Marshall, and Decker.... man if they can get a QB they got some solid receiving there.

I heard that several places. I don't see Harvin staying on the roster.
