Was he trolling? I guess, if you go by the definition of the word. But it's not like he was spamming every threa or being mean-spirited about it. Some posters, like Zam for instance, troll the whole board and spam every thread and that winds up pissing everyone off and getting them rightfully banned. Hotcarl mostly just seemed to make everyone laugh. I never saw the board-wide annoyance for hotcarl that you see for a Zam or a Joel.
