that is CLEARLY a white and gold dress. THere is no blue.

I see both. I was reading the article posted and on first look it was white and gold, then went up the page and saw blue and black. I'm effed in the head apparently.

The picture is a terrible picture as far as lighting goes, and of course, that's the reason why the confusion.
Although, I am surprised to see now that those who see blue, see a really dark blue, not a lighter, corn flour type blue. Very interesting.
If we were to see the dress photographed in good lighting, it would likely look much different to most everyone.
Looks light blue and brown from the picture.

At first I said white and gold. After starting at it for a minute, I see the white tinted with the lightest of the lightest shade of blue. The rest is gold.
I put the dress in photoshop to make it 6 shades of darker. I expected a grey and darker shade of gold. Instead I got black and blue. That trick has yet to work on two other colors.
