I get worried everytime i see him on the field. It has to be much worse on his family.

Probably the right call. He's got nothing left to prove in the NFL

Watching him was a lot like watching McCaffrey in some ways, but I admit I cringed more for Welker because the number of concussions. Let's hope he has no permanent damage, watching retired players struggle with so many ailments and with so little help is just horrible.

Wes Welker reportedly considering retirement. But only if teams don't come calling. He told me he wants to play two more years. #Broncos

Im not sure he really has anything left. He was pretty ineffective this year for us.

Being able to walk away should be his main concern.

I would like him back. He was/is still getting open. We just didn't work him like we did last year.....we didn't really work the middle of the field much at all last year.

If he would give it a go for a couple mil I'd def take him back.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

With his concussion history he probably should retire. If he really wants to play I wouldn't mind seeing him back as our 4th receiver with a paycut. We need to get Latimore involved though.

I agree with the first part, he needs to walk away while he can. I expect Denver to cut Andre Caldwell, that leaves Latimer, Sanders and Thomas as the returning receivers from the active roster. Jordan Norwood, Isiah Burse and Nathan Palmer will return to camp among a few others. Denver could go either way, we need depth. But Welker will likely want more then they're willing to pay and I think there is a legitimate health concern. Not to mention that this is a very deep wide receiver class coming out in the draft and Denver is expected to have eight to ten picks.
    - Doesn't bother me what people think, the mere fact what I think seems to bother others speaks volumes about them more then myself! -

With all the info out about CTE now, it blows my mind that he would want to keep playing with all these concussions. Is the extra million or two he might earn by playing another year really worth the years extra concussions could take off his life?

See you,.won't be missed. Could of brought Stokley out of retirement at his age and done better than Welker.

No, it means Welker really sucked last year.
