Time to start a new one. Maybe Tulo will play 120 games this year.
Forget him, I want to watch Arenado regardless of how bad the Rox do this year.

Fascinating Sweet Spot blog post from Schoenfield:
http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/po...test-dynasties
I think some people find it hard to call the Giants a dynasty because they have relied so much on getting hot at the right time and riding one of two players throughout the playoffs while getting lucky many times. They've never been dominant...they've just performed when it counted.
Nevertheless...they have 3 rings in 5 years to show for it all
Are the Yankees going to suck this year?
The playoff record speaks for itself, but in reality, they've played in a soft division with very few superstars. When you look at "dynasties" from the past, you can put names with the teams. Who thinks of a dynasty and immediately comes up with Buster, Pablo and Madison? Doesnt really compare to the Yankees, Reds or A's teams of the past.
Unfortunately the contemporary Giants had a better span of championships than my Reds ever did. The Giant's team, though, is significantly worse than any of the other dynasty teams, and yeah it does feel like variance that they hit their stride so perfectly three ******* times.
That's fair. They haven't been a dominant regular season team, or someone who looks like your classic powerhouse. But the definition of dynasty has sort of shifted over the years too. Al Michaels and Bill Simmons were talking about this on his podcast in relation to the LA Kings and whether 2 championships in 3 years is a modern day dynasty.
