Very meh for me. Rated it 6/10. I actually dig the new singer as opposed to Tarja but the music is a bit underwhelming for me.

Yeah, I was pretty stoked when Floor Janssen got the full-time gig. I heard their first single and it was decent, but I'm a little disappointed that the rest of the record is underwhelming.

Thought about goinf to see them with DeLain and Sabaton in a few weeks, but not sure I want to drop the $125 for it

Wow, holy crap that is pricey. Would love to see Delain though, like them.

They are pretty good...and Nightwish has some great stuff...and there are a few decent ones from Sabaton...

and it's one of the first shows in the newly opened and renovated Bomb Factory in Dallas...but I dont know that I want to drop that kind of coin for that show.

How do you like the new ATR album? I hear their radio single and I hate it, but then I heard another song on Sirius 40 Liquid Metal the other day and it reminded me of when they were good seven years ago.

Ive never been overly familiar with the band, especially that long ago but i rated the latest one a 5/10 and the one before that a 6/10. Its basically average material to me for that particular genre so it means i probably find a couple of songs here or there that are decent but the albums fail to overwhelm me overall.

I hear ya. They're one of the bands that got me in to metal initially along with guys like Killswitch (pre-Howard), Fear Factory, etc. ATR has a song called The Weak Willed and that song gets me so effing amped up.
