Unless you want to compare it to Manning's winning percent as starting quarterback over that time. For example. Manning and the Broncos were a .750 team (12-4) during the season but .000 (0-2) with this ref. Small sample size but a sizeable difference in results.

People bring up Manning's record vs. Tom Brady. That's a small sample size too. Do you think THAT's going to get dismissed during the AFCCG if the two meet?

LOL, those things aren't even comparable. Brady has a vested interest in beating Manning and he is the best at doing it, so that is why Peyton has a worse record against him than against anyone else.

Unless you think this ref has a vested interesting in Peyton losing, then that 0-6 is just a statistical fluke. I think this is something fun for conspiracy theorists or people who think Peyton can do no wrong to latch on two, I just don't think it has much substance. It just comes off as an excuse for Peyton losing.

Von Doom, where do you see the ref assignments before the games?

You just never know. Some baseball umpires had it in for certain pitchers and managers. They'd never admit it until after retirement where it couldn't hurt them but refs are human. A few bad calls, intentional or not, do affect the outcome of games.

But, as I said, facts are facts.

Joe Flacco, perhaps looking for some good karma, tipped a Pittsburgh waitress $150 on a $200 tab.

I think Vinovich is a shitty ref and hopes he doesn't get near a Denver game during the playoffs.

Put that in your conspiracy pipe and smoke it!

That's fine. That's much different than saying "Peyton is 0-6 when this ref officiates, so he must have it out for Manning".

That Ravens playoff game might be the most poorly officiated playoff game I have ever seen. I'm not saying he had it out for Denver but he and his "all star" crew were gawd awful that day.

Anybody who doesn't think NFL officiating hasn't become an excuse on a weekly basis isn't paying attention. Stealers have a legitimate arguement today.

NFL officiating is at an all-time low.

What call/s did the Steelers get boned on?

Just a TD called back on a questionable holding call, the kind of holding that the Ravens got away with all night. It woulda made one score game, instead Rapeberger and Heath Miller are concussed on consecutive plays following. It was lopsided and inconsistent in the impact the calls had. Offensive PI and faskmasks.

I don't remember the Ravens being flagged much at all.

Btw, not complaining at all for the Stealers, I call them that cause they stole that SB vs Seahawks by virtue of reffing.

I gotcha. I didn't find the holding call to be questionable. I thought the Steelers got away with several holds as well. Regardless the personal foul on Brown was insane.

I wish Pittsburgh won, truth be told.

I avoid rooting for any matchup, I'm just really a "careful what you wish for" fan, Denver got advantageous matchups in the PO's before and lost. I don't care about Revenge Tours and proving a point any more.
