the best part of this is this show didnt look interesting enough to watch, definitely not in a theater but now everyone is going to rent or buy this thing to see what all the BS is about. They will end up making more than they would have if NK would have just left it alone.

Not only should they show the movie, we should airdrop free copies of the movie all over North Korea so the people can see how great we are. A movie like The Interview would never ever be able to be seen in North Korea let alone be made, and that is the whole point of how awesome America is.

Personally I think Sony Pictures is punishing the filmmakers and the film for exposing a lot of their bullshit emails. This has nothing to do with security concerns aside from their fear of losing more respect in the film community and/or profit.

Shit I'm including the citizens of North Korea as well if you are talking about wanting freedom. I saw a great documentary about North Korea where they risk their lives to get bootlegged American movies, music, TV Shows etc. and even high powered antennas to pick up South Korean TV and cell phone signals. A lot of the younger North Koreans know Kim Jong is a crock of crap, but they are just scared. Scared just like Sony supposedly is. Who knows this could be just some sick marketing tactic to get the Video on Demand market ramped up.

Im seriously not just mad at Sony for this. AMC Theaters and stuff, i cant even buy a ticket to see it now

from most reviews the movie is absolutely horrible

I have very mixed feelings about them pulling the movie. On one hand, we can't let the terrorist's "win". On the other, imagine if they kept this quiet and released the film and something horrible happened. Imagine if AMC decided to show it anyway in a theater and a mass killing happened or a bomb went off.

It's a tough one to think about.

Then we would probably be at war.
