The Jets are just awful. That Tennessee Jets game must make their fans sick.

    Bears.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Da Bears. My reason is nobody expected those other teams to do well and there were no surprises. The Bears looked great on paper but it just never panned out.

Oh, you mean every time you have a chance to work a comment about it in? Yeah, you're right, just business as usual....

Well if you thought it was nothing more than trolling I'm not really sure why you even decided to take the bait...

I actually found it a legitimate point for this thread. I'm not sure how you can say a team is the worst in the NFL when they just had the same record as a team leading its division.

I agree, but that would be the most disappointing team. I feel the bears would beat up the raiders. Although the raiders did surprise me with their only two wins

Back on topic, I know we are all reveling in Jay Cutler's misery, but there is no way the Bears are the worst team. They would absolutely beat the Titans and Jets, probably the Raiders, Skins, and Jags too. Are they the most unerperforming relative to their talent? Sure. But worst? No way.

Good points.I will admit I'm kinda reveling in his misery but I am over him for the most part. I'm basing my vote on how far below the bar a team is performing. No way Bridgewater and the Vikings should be above them in the standings with all the turmoil they had this season with AP. \

Yeah they probably could beat those other teams, but if you had my hand on a wooden table and raised a sledgehammer and told me to bet on a game with the Bears winning VS ANY team no way in hell would I not think I would be walking away with a broken hand. The Raiders and others at least seem to be trying, the Bears just gave up and in professional sports that is the worst to me personally.

Plus when you drive your rabid fanbase to do things like this, you know you suck!

Yea, i dont think its a guarantee that the Bears could beat the Jags or Raiders. I mean, the Jag did beat the Giants and i think the Giants have more talent than them. I think the reason why i consider the Bears the worst is because they actually should be playing better than they are but they arent. On paper they are talented, but on the field they show a completely different team and when we talk about a team unraveling when things fall apart the Bears are really the poster child this year.

They have still managed to win 5 games this season. That's better than quite a few other teams.

Yes, but you really cant just go by the win/loss column. At least for me. The Jags and Raiders have lost some close games this year, hell even the Jets still put up a fight as we didnt blow the doors off of them at all. To me, when you have the type of talent that the Bears have and yet you only win 5 games that to me shows you are a lot worse than a team who is at the very least fighting each and every week despite having less wins.

I agree that relative to their talent they are the most underperforming team in the league. I just don't think they are the worst team. They still have some good pieces there.

If the win/loss column doesnt count then ANY team can be considered the worst. IMO, the worst team is a combination of total lack of talent and direction...and how that relates to wins. That being said, I wouldnt even have Chicago in the bottom five. They're bad...but Jags, Jets, Raiders bad? Not even close.
