No Broncos fans will care what he said next year when he leaves in free agency

Sound like bullshit? Well, so does your argument. It's all meaningless, let's agree to that.
Unfortunately for your argument, my argument isn't based on "Because I said so". It's based on the cites I provided which indicated the Belichick used the comments of the Dolphins as motivation, and that indicates that, regardless of how ineffective or useless you perceive them to be, they are of some value. You talk as if this is the first time you ever heard of using BB material.

I'm hoping he'll stay. He's already said if they can get in the ball park, he's staying because we took a chance on him that other teams did not.

I hate to be the cynic that I am, but they all say that.

It is Ok, what do we have too lose? After last years Super Bowl, we need someone to stand up and get these guys fired up! If we win, Pot Roast is Awesome! If not, it really doesn't matter anyway.

Pot Roast is the key to the success of the D-line. They don't want to lose him. He's graded out among the top 5 defensive tackles in the NFL this season. The Broncos haven't had a player of his caliber since a young Trevor Pryce.

I think they will make a serious offer. Whether they keep him or not, they're going to make it a priority.

I agree that he is very important but when someone leaves, others usually step up. Wolfe had a couple of great seasons as well.

I don't think Sylvestor or Austin are anywhere in Pot Roast's play vicinity and that is who would be taking his place. Wolfe is an every down lineman. He's on the field with or without those guys.

Im not saying Wolfe would replace him, just saying that there is always someone else out there. I believe the games are won on the line so if it was up to me thats where I would spend the most time signing players so I'm with you that he should be signed if the price is alright
