Thanks Coach. Do you like Mckinney better then Perryman? I looked at Mckinney and I like Perryman much more. But i have only looked briefly at both.

I feel in the first round we need to get that FS, OL (OG or RT) if an Elite MLB is there yes, therwise im fine with Irving and co, or DL. Seems like a lot but thats good imo. If we can get that STUD FS or DL in 1. Then we can look at OL or DL in 2. I like that TE in 3. I think going TE in mid rounds is the way to go. Should be easier to nab a few of them mid round and save our top picks for FS, OL,DL,MLB.

IM not the biggest Q smith fan either. Was never real high on him from his games. But I do like Malik Jackson, I think he could be our RDE. When he doesnt make stupid penalties.
Hopefully AJ Johnson falls to 32 in the first

    RD 1:
FS Landon Collins. Rahim is extremely average. Thought/hoped he would grow and IMO he has not. We need a real ball hawk FS
OG Tre Jackson. With Franklin likely gone and the fact we MUST get Manram off the starting squad this guy works well
MLB Denzel Perryman. I love this kid. Better than CJ Mosley imo. Doubt he falls to 32 but I want!

    RD2:
    DT-Carl Davis

    RD 3: TE
    Clive Walford

    RD: 5 Comp pick
    TE EJ Bibbs

I am sure we are going to draft at least two TEs. Im confident FS and OG are on the list too. I personally like Matt Paradis at C. MLB could be an issue unless Danny T balls out there and marshall stays at will

In the NFL today, there really isnt any MLB that is a true 3 down guy. There are a few that can do it...but they typically dont excel against the run AND pass. So with the assumption that 3rd down is going to be a nickel or dime down...I like McKinney as a 2 down run stopper. Not very good against the pass, but against the run, I think he gets the edge over Perryman...who will likely end up being an outside LB in the NFL anyway.

Malik is fine as an interior guy on passing downs and as a straight bull rusher on the left side...but he doesnt have the athleticism or repertoire to excel as a RDE against more athletic left tackles. Leave him in the role he has and find a true pass rusher.

OL has to be addressed imo with the most emphasis. Whether its with the first or with a few mid round-late picks. LB depth would be a good idea. Also idk what will happen with JT but I think Virgil can start but TE depth will be needed. Mid to late round QB and the rest depth/flier picks. All this could look a lot different after the FA as well

The Broncos could probably sign a good blocker, a good receiving TE and keep Green for the same price as JT, much like they did in 2012 with Dreessen and Tamme. Gresham and Howsler.

Default My Early 2015 draft plan and guys to start looking at.

I'm not a draftnik so I won't name any specific players but we need Oline. First, second and third rounds IMO. I don't know if Schofield will pan out and even with our OT problems he hasn't played. We are likely gonna lose Franklin.

We need the best available OT in round 1 so Vasquez can move back to RG. We also need either a top OG or a good FA. The oline is our biggest Achilles heel right now.

As for FA, we must bring back DT and Knighton. Losing JT won't hurt us as badly as those two will. I also think Green is a must sign and he'll come much cheaper than JT.

If the Broncos don't resign Julius Thomas who is gonna escort DB's to the ball carrier?

OK so an update. It is in my sig, but I will put it here for anyone who would like to critique or talk about it.

FA- We are going to add
Sam Bradford QB. Will come cheap and will want to come here as he knows all he has to do is beat out oz for starting spot on a Loaded team.

Arthur Moats ILB. He is just depth. Just ok, but will come real cheap, played in the steelers 34 defense and can help with the transition.

Charles Clay- my top priority TE. He can catch, he can block, he is a receiving threat. Since we let JT walk he can fill the void. If he does not come:
Jordan Cameron-A good blocking TE, he can also catch the ball pretty well. Another cheap replacement for JT. If he does not come:
Lance Kendricks- I like this kid a lot. He isnt the best blocker but he is good. He is a receiving threat imo. Will come really cheap. Replace JT

James Carpenter- LG. His is our big splash! Blocked well in seattle and they may not keep him. Would allow Franklin back to RT. Hes a boss!

Louis Delmas S. Liked him coming out of college. He will not cost a whole lot. Better than Rahim imo. Also would come cheap. We have a HUGE need at FS.

Keep- We will keep many more, but the important ones are:
    DT
    Knighton
    Virg
    Irving
    Franklin

We are rumored to have around 35mil cap space. With the loss of welkers 10 mil and colquitts 3 mil and others, plus the cap increase I can see us easily having the money to keep our two biggies (DT and Knighton) and sign the rest of our guys cheap, as well as bring in some FAs, two of which are starters.

    Now for draft:

    1st rd.

    Kurtis Drummond FS
I know I know, you guys think its way to early and there is better value. I hate Value. I hate Value drafts. Ive never seen a Value team win anything. In real NFL or fantasy. Value drafting is garbage to me. Yes, I like perryman and would consider him, but I think we fill our needs in other ways. So, Drummond. He is a BOSS FS imo. Rangier than the dream and with much much much much much better hands for the pick. He is our (not as good) Earl Thomas. He has been mocked in the 3rd or 2nd, but I have a feeling he goes first rd. I havent watched a ton of his film yet but what I have seen shows me he is probably going to be a day 1 pick. We will know more as we get closer, but this guy is the FS we have been looking for.

    2.
    Hau'oli Kikaha OLB
Holy tits batman, this guy can rush the passer like no other. He is short and smaller in size, much like Doom, which will make him drop lower then he should ever be. I can forsee him lighting up the combine and rising his stock. He is exactly who we want taking over for demarcus ware. He will play this year for ware when he needs a rest and I bet he could beat out demarcus next year. I love this kid already and ive just barely looked at his game. He will be a 10+ sack master for sure!!! He is ideal for the 34 too.

    3.
    Reese Dismukes C
We need a C badly. This dude is apparantly a perfect fit for the ZBS scheme. Havent watched him yet, but he gets high marks. He may just fall to us here in rd 3. Every year some player falls who shouldnt. Reese will be our guy.

    4. (Comp Pick)
    Dorial Green Beckham WR
I did not want to take a WR until late in this draft, but if this kid is here we must take him. Before his off field issues he was considered a top 2-3 WR in the first rd. He is compared exactly to AJ GREEN and he looks to fill the part. He is 6'5 and 215ish. Fast and High points the ball like crazy. He is an Elite WR. ELITE. He also has character and pot concerns. Denver is the perfect place for his Pot Concerns. He and DT and Sanders and Latimore is sexier then a ProBowl WR lineup. Its a comp pick. We can afford to take a flier on an athlete who already is the goods.

    5. Paul Dawson ILB
Not sure he will fall this far, but he may. He is like my boy Boreland form last year. A stud, but a small short guy. Apparantly you MUST be tall to play ILB. I dont care. Dude can cover, he can eat the run and he diagnoses plays very quickly. He can be our leader in the middle of the field.

We will likely have 2-3 more comp picks but Im just doing these last two spots for now.....

    6. Spencer Roth P
This kid has a leg. He had a long of 72 or something yards punt. He was consistently in the mid upper 40s for punt yardage. Imagine him in the Mile High. He is cheap and wont cost 3 mil like colquitt. He also can down it pretty well. He is a punter. How can you really gush about a punter. I like him.

    7. Tyler Cierski FB

We need a FB. This one seems to really block well. He hurts people when he blocks and he is reputed to enjoy blowing up LBs for his RB. My kind of player. Plays mean and wants to hurt people.

    UDFA-
Damiere Byrd -wr/kr/pr- Is supposedly really really fast. Plus, he knows how to catch unlike our last really really really really fast guy at PR.

Will update as we get closer, but this is how I would start the New League Year with these players in mind.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

He will want to come here so he can win a ring without cheating.

Ok I will take some heat for this but I would like the Broncos to do due diligence on Trent Richardson.

He would be cheap and worth a gamble IMO.
