My favorite holiday, and I'm not even sure what would be second. What's better than stuffing yourself, drinking heavily and watching football with family?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Today, my Aggie buddy is coming over to watch LSU/TA&M game. We'll cooking a crawfish etoufee and crab cornbread dressing, and I hope the Tigers win. Geaux Tigers!

Tomorrow.....we'll cook our traditional Thanksgiving meal. It'll be my wife's day off at the Deid, so she'll be able to FaceTime/hangout with us while we prepare/cook and enjoy the day.

I'm thankful for whoever made FaceTime.

Happy Thanksgiving. Even to the Brit. And the Canadian ex-pat.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I am thankful for my family, especially the latest addition, my friends, heck my life in general right now.

I hope everyone has a fun filled day full of food, family, friends and football (and a little firewater )

So what's on everyone's menu today

I'm not sure what my sister is making other than the traditional foods, including Mac n cheese and the grossest thanksgiving traditional side for our family - chitterlings :sooooogrooooossss:

I'm going over there for a bit but then I will have a turkey here at home (so I can have my leftovers), corn bread stuffing, green bean casserole, corn, and mashed potatoes and gravy. And I am making chocolate cream pie for dessert

PS: anyone do any Black Friday shopping. I don't. Crowds piss me off and it's not worth it. Even if Walmart is selling a 50in TV for $218

I made the best turkey ever. It was perfect I am very thankful (cuz last years was horrible - it was a real turkey my mom had raised and it ended up being a wild turkey and the meat was tough, the dark meat was so dark it was almost black - which is normal for a wild turkey but it wasn't good) my sister also cooked a pretty awesome turkey, so today was a win win

I also have never been a stuffing person but made I a cornbread stuffing that was really good. I didn't stuff the turkey with it, I just made it in the oven, so the top was all crispy....yummmmm.

I am so very thankful for my family. Our youngest addition enjoyed his very first taste of mashed potatoes today.

And to one of my oldest friends here, Davii, I thought a lot about you today after hearing about Cassie. Thank you for being a solid friend all this time. I hope you're doing ok. I just thought about my best day ever comment and that wouldn't hold true for you. I hope you find comfort in all the amazing memories of your girl! Happy Thanksgiving!
