While smacking of desperation, the Cornick as TE/6th OL was pretty interesting and effective.

I wouldn't say desperation. Was it desperation when the Pats did it to bulldoze the Colts last week? It was just sound strategy, and it was for us as well.

50/50 is a ******* pipe dream in today's NFL, wishful thinking.

I had forgotten about this thread, but I had seen a great Manning quote the other night. A little Googling helped me find it again:

Would be a little cautious of giving C.J. too many carries. Would like to see Thompson carry some of that load so C.J. is ready to roll in the playoffs.
