LOL Atwater. You've said yourself he's "elite".
And no. I'm not going to search your posts to verify it.
Cutler sucks. Always has, always will.
I guess it depends on the definition of elite. You've certainly called him one of the top 3-5 QB's in the league, and possibly said he has an "elite arm".
I'm just enjoying what he has become - because I never thought he'd amount to anything. Elite physical skills, garbage for a brain.
I don't care enough about Cutler to have a strong opinion but his body language, emo face and the way he pouts when things aren't going his way make me damn glad he's Chicago's problem and not Denver's.
you guys heard the story about Cutler in the bathroom yelling "i dont careeee" at fans right?
For as long as Cutler has been in the league there has been excuses around Cutler.
In Denver it was the defense, or lack of it. In early Chicago it was the oline and lack of WR's. Then the WR's came and it was the lack of oline. The oline right now is not only better than it was, it is without a doubt a better than average oline in the NFL. Putting aside the oline being better than average, it is better than some QB's who are doing better than him, so I just can't seem to justify trying to bring the oline argument back in.
Now people want to look at coaching and scheme and playcalling, etc, everything around Cutler.
For myself, it has come down to simply, it's Jay Cutler. Dude is arguably one of the most overrated football players in the NFL. Chicago fans are acknowledging it. His ex-teammates in Chicago have brought it up, and now even his current teammates/coaches are acknowledging his poor play.
full article - http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story...-feel-pressureLAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler agreed with coach Marc Trestman's assertion that he needs to play better, and admitted "you can definitely feel the pressure" mounting at Halas Hall from the team's disappointing 3-6 start.
"We have to get better, I have to get better," Cutler said. "That's just kind of the focus right now, finding every little thing I can get better at to try to win a ballgame."
AND
Cutler recognizes his responsibility in helping to lead that charge. Often criticized for negative body language, Cutler is even paying extra attention to that as well as communication and interaction with teammates in his search for ways to help the Bears dig out of their current rut.

THIS ONES FOR JOHNWOULD YOU RATHER WIN UGLY, OR LOSE PRETTY?
Unfortunately for Jay its now or never. He's been in the league nine years so time is starting to catch up with him.
He should bench Jay Boy, but they kinda can't.
