Detroit rocker Kid Rock surprised a special fan for his birthday.

He showed up to Dan McGurk’s birthday party at the Union Woodshop restaurant in Clarkston Michigan on October 27th.

Dan made a YouTube video earlier this year, inviting Kid Rock to come and celebrate with him at his birthday dinner. In the video he shows off all of his Kid Rock fan memorabilia, including shirts, blankets and posters. He says that he is Kid Rock’s biggest fan.

Dan has Down Syndrome, and was very surprised and excited to see his favorite rock star. Kid Rock gave him a baseball hat and a guitar as a present.

Kid Rock stuck around for about two hours enjoying the company and giving Dan a birthday he won’t soon forget.

Not the biggest fan of his music but that was totally a great thing to do for that guy.
