Thread: Revis: 'Between me and Coach'

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis missed practice on Tuesday after being sent home for tardiness by coach Bill Belichick, according to a Boston Globe report.

After playing on Thursday night against Revis' former team, the New York Jets, Patriots players were given the weekend off before returning to practice Tuesday. The players were to meet at 7:30 a.m. for meetings and Revis was apparently late, though it is not known how late he was.

Revis was asked about his absence from Tuesday's practice in the locker room on Wednesday.

"Between me and Coach," Revis said. "Talk to him about it."

Revis overslept and was sent home. Later in the day Revis returned to Gillette and apologized to Belichick.

End of story.

Revis also then apologized to the Pats organization for getting a bigger contract then the much better player, Aqib Talib.
