    Yes. I agree.

Say, I read today the Queen has assistants who wear her new shoes before she does to make sure they are not uncomfortable. Are you OK with this expenditure of your tax dollars?

No i think the queen is an old cretin, unelected, foreign and elitist.

I would like to be part of another revolutionary war....but you colonials would probably provide aid to the monarchy - ironic eh!

However, if a team ever relocates overseas the players on the London team would pay a tax rate much higher than any American team, up to 50%. Again, I don't see how a decent FA would be attracted to these terms.
You are forgetting state taxes. NY ( and Mass.) clips another bunch of money; The UK has no parallel near as I know. I have no idea about real property taxes in the UK. In NY I pay about $5K a year for a 1700 square foot $150K house

Dave, don't be duped. The truth is the Bostonians were a bunch of bosos who fell prey to a joke. Just prior to moving west some people told the Bostonians if they dumped a boat load of tea in the harbor they'd have free tea for an entire year.
They started the revolution purely by accident, similar to the way they win football games.

John Baker rode with a group of Patriots that went through and drug out every loyalist they could find and hung them from trees. Robert Baker was the first gunsmith to make the Long Rifle in America.

Ya'll HAD a native British monarch, but simply used him to snooker Scotland into union, then decapitated his son (i.e. your lawful sovereign) as his first cousin once removed had his mother, tolerated and CELEBRATED the murderers rule for a decade before restoring his victims son, only to throw out his OTHER son and invite the foreigners in because the legitimate king presumed to say native Britons shouldn't be denied citizenship for the grave crime of being Catholic. Between declaring that Glorious and persecuting any who dared dispute it, it's small wonder so many Scots fled to colonial sanctuary.

THE US is the nation with two states named for the rightful British monarch whose English subjects murdered him; if resistance to tyrants is obedience to God, resistance to traitors & usurpers is patriotism.

Bunch of Jacobins; so disloyal you don't even know the right words to "My Country, 'Tis of Thee." Hey, but thanks for negatively inspiring the Constitutions No Religious Test Clause; that thing's come in handy, even if the antidisestablishmentarians continually insist it hasn't been there from the start.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

Never confuse frustrated candor and disloyal malice.

Dave, I have a hypothetical for you.....

Let's say the Broncos play in London and are the home team. Let's also say they're on offense and the crowd is loud.

What is the proper English way for Peyton to angrily tell the home crowd to shut the hell up?
