Or maybe you meant the SEC DPOY...

I remember Alfred Williams saying he'd be one of the best players on Denver's defense if he was signed and can "flat out play" -- so these coaches must be dead wrong!
Alfred Williams said Lamar Miller would be Rookie of the Year.

They should've kept him around to teach Romo to read a freakin' blitz.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

I was thinking about that last night when i watched the first half. There was a point early in the game that there was NO ONE deep and i just cant understand how Romo at this point in his career does not know how to audible to adjust to that or even have a receiver go to a hot read. Total bafflement there for me on why he cant see that and adjust.

Because Romo's NOT one of the NFLs great offensive minds, whatever Jerrys fantasy. I admit the "show blitz but back out at the last second" thing's effective; we used it a lot and well a few years ago, and I wish we hadn't stopped. But a 10-year vet with a few Pro Bowls under his belt should start figuring it out by the 4th qtr. Make a hot read to Bryant/Witten, or audible to a draw/screen (it WAS CREATED for blitzes, and on those 9-man jailbreaks Washington kept running blockers would've outnumbered tacklers, most of whom would've been behind and to the side of the play, sprinting the wrong direction.)

Romo being Romo; pretty sad when he gets outplayed by Brandon "I haven't started since I stole the starting job from the third-stringer starting for them" Weeden. All while the talking heads tell us Romo's finally over the hump, this is his year at last, etc. etc. Romo still being Romo; Jerry still Al-Davising Americas Team. He's about to be forced to a choice between his pet QB and pet HC/former QB.

Your bump of this based on that is ridiculous.

A HuffPost article quoting a gay (presumably sports) mag.

    He "won't go away".

Sounds like that niche-nothing rag did him a disservice. He believes in his talent like all these guys. I don't know many near-NFL athletes that think they can't play.

A better question; what's a conservative, admitted racist like you doing on HuffPost? Maybe you're the one looking for smoke when there's no fire.

When I think of Michael Sam then I think of the people who can't get enough of celebrating him being out of football and dig up every negative thing they can find to post about him on a message board, I don't come out of that thinking Sam is the guy who is a loser.

Says the guy who has made his love for michael sam known to all from the beginning and gets butt hurt anytime someone dares to say a discouraging word about him. Once again, you cant get enough of making underhanded and disrespectful cheap shots at board members who say anything contrary to your own views.

Just so we're clear, you dig up and old thread and post a bs article just to call a guy you're obsessed with a loser, and I'm the disrepectful person in this thread. Gotcha!
