We heard some complaints that Dockett was being classless by making the sign, but it's hard not to laugh. And the fans had it coming. Dockett wrote on Twitter that fans were yelling things about the Cardinals' mothers and fathers while throwing coins and ice at them.

I thought it was pretty funny, and figured he was being harassed when he made the sign.

Yea, i posted this in OR's thread. According to Dockett the Raider fans were throwing shit and talking shit the whole game. That was priceless on his part.

I love this - going slightly off topic a bit, i went a 20/20 cricket game over the summer and the crowd and the players are right on top of each other.

The abuse the players on the boundary took from the crows was horrendous, 90% of the time it was all in good fun and the players responded with their own bits of banter - but then when the player on the boundary made a catch - he turned round and said something like "how do you like that", people in the crowd were all upset saying things like "that was out of order" and "he took that too far" - he ended up apologising after the match, i was like wtf!

Same in soccer, goal keepers often get really abused but they are not allowed to respond in any way - I think it is BS, if you pay your money to go and abuse people, you should also expect some banter to come back

The Cards player should get an award of the week for awesomeness and the raiders fans should be given a can of shut the hell up

edge of the field next to the start of the crowd

the boundary is also the marker for scoring 4 or 6 runs but that is getting into the rules of cricket as opposed to just describing where the player was standing!
