    Default Trouble in Cutlerville

    http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/c...fscom:nflonfox

The Chicago Bears are now 3-4 and have yet to win at home this season, and it may be starting to take its toll on the team.

After a lackluster 27-14 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, frustrations apparently boiled over in the Bears' locker room, with various sources citing yelling, scuffling and multiple references to an "ugly" situation.

Mercurial wide receiver Brandon Marshall and guard Kyle Long reportedly were at the center of much of the arguing, though they weren't necessarily arguing with each other.

    Hehehe

Yea, i read a quote where Brandon said there were great players all over the offense yet didnt mention the Qb. lol

Of course this was the same guy who said at the beginning of the year that Jay was going to have his best year ever.

Sometimes it takes some in-fighting to get a spark going, though I'm glad we don't have Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde here.

You could make a case that Orton is playing better than Cutler this year...with less weapons.

Am I'm everything anti Orton. Just calling it like I see it.

What is so ****ing ironic is all the poison Cutler caused in Denver his whole career here from displacing Plummer to the trade, now we got Peyton Manning. The Broncos became a perennial contender with Elway at the helm, Cutler is still the little train that could.

    I love it.

Before you Cutler bashers get to happy.
Marshall hates losing and he always reacts with his emotions. So don't get carried away, he addressed the whole team.

Blaming Cutler for what happened with Plummer is like blaming Plummer for what happened with Griese, Plummer fans tend to forget he was such a pick machine his whole career that a big reason we were a popular SB favorite and #2 AFC seed in 2005 was because he had (by far) the least Ints of any season he'd played, so there was a strong consensus he'd turned the corner, grown some discipline along with his beard, and was finally a top tier QB—until he had his epic meltdown with FOUR turnovers in the AFCCG (still the only AFCCG Denver's lost at home) and handed Pitt his SB ticket.

He was never the same after that; the turnovers continued and he started doing a fainting goat impression that would make Orton proud. That was all Shanny needed to invoke the continency he'd already planned after the AFCCG when he drafted Cutler; if it hadn't been Cutler, it would've been someone else: Shanny wasn't going to risk Plummer blowing up ANOTHER season for a team that had just gotten within a game of the SB without him. Plummer's heart wasn't in it anymore anyway; that's why he retired rather than report to camp in Tampa.

Cutler may be The Little Engine That Could, but Plummer was always The Little Engine That Couldn't ("I-HATE-this-game, I-HATE-this-game....") That's his fault, and his alone. Blaming Cutler for it is like blaming him for McDumbass' idiotic deceitful trade, or saying Griese's why Elway retired: It's putting the causal cart before the horse.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

Cutler is just glad Blake Bortles and Kirk Cousins are quarterbacks in the league. Otherwise this douche would lead the league in INTs.

What a monumental waste of talent.

Cutler was born at just the right time to imprint far too heavily on Favre, one of the few QBs with the arm strength to get away with (even make a career of) the classic rookie mistake of thinking he could zip balls into double coverage as he always did against FAR weaker college and HS talent. Yet there's a reason Favre broke Marinos career attempt and Int records LONG before his completions and TD records: When the chips were down and the game on the line, Favre was ALWAYS good for at least one Int (e.g. SB XXXII,) often two (e.g. the '95 and '09 NFCCGs.) For anyone without his power and touch, it's worse.

It's a shame: He DOES have the talent; the problem is, he knows that too well.

    Default Brandon Marshall: 'Unacceptable'

CHICAGO -- Frustration boiled over inside the Chicago Bears' locker room Sunday just minutes after the team fell 27-14 at Soldier Field to the Miami Dolphins. Yelling could be heard from outside the double doors, and a source said receiver Brandon Marshall called out quarterback Jay Cutler.

The source said there "are some very selfish individuals in the locker room." But it's not out of the ordinary for Marshall to strongly voice his opinion to Cutler, as the two are close friends off the field.

Marshall, meanwhile, didn't deny there was friction in the aftermath of the game.

    Bwhahahahahaha

"Same mistakes, same mistakes, same mistakes," Marshall said. "We've got to protect the football. We've got to protect the football. We've got to execute the game plan. We've got to adjust when things don't go as we saw on the film. We've got Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, Matt Forte. We've got a stud offensive line. We've got a great, great group of guys, and this is unacceptable. What did we put up, 14 points? Was it 14 points? That's unacceptable."

Colin Cowherd has jumped off the Cutler bandwagon.
