I just wish I could remember which game it was; it's nagging me now. I'm tempted to say it was our walk-off TD against Pitt in the 2011 divisional playoffs; it was that kind of pivotal play. But it could've been almost any game, really, because this story's a non-story.
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

Before I read your post, this is the first thought that came to mind. WOs are always referring to the officials to make sure they're not beyond the LOS (whether HS, college, Pro), so why not other positions getting a little help from time to time. IMO, it saves the headache of the flag being thrown. People here, including myself, seem to bitch about flags alot.

That's the real bottom line: Rules and refs exist to make the game as safe and fair as possible, not seek excuses to punish honest mistakes by guys just trying to do their own jobs just like the refs are.
The rule says, "no canning the center on kicks," and the ref made sure that didn't happen, so the rule was satisfied: Good job, ref.

    NFL officiating is pathetic.

"We're gonna rape your defense with penalties but if it can somehow hold the offense to a FG we'll make sure you're lined up correctly".

I am trying to think of a word that rhymes with Discontent, Malcontent and Supplement.

    Can you help?

Precedent. As in a Pats staffer admitting they taped the Rams SB walkthrough before the first championship the franchise ever "won."

Oh really? Perhaps you can supply proof of this staffer admitting that Joel.

And while you do that I am going to begin a crossword puzzle.

And as long as it takes WTE to do a crossword puzzle, you've got a LONG time to Google.

Shoot! I am already stumped on this crossword puzzle Mo. I need a 10 letter word that starts with C and ends with T that means, "to avoid by artfulness or deception."

    It's similar to circumcize.

Matt Walsh recanting and Goodell destroying all the evidence doesn't change the fact it HAPPENED and was CONFESSED, it just means all PROOF was destroyed. Nice use of the Ray Lewis Defense though.

    "Camera-man" doesn't end with a "t" and usually isn't hyphenated (also, a hyphen's not a letter.)
