People really should wear their seatbelts.

That seems relevant to the discussion. Thanks.

FYI guys, I'm going to continue to wear my seatbelt!

I've always adamantly wore my seatbelt...until the last couple months. For some reason I now forget about it. I think I'm losing my marbles.

NH doesn't have a seat belt law for adults, I always wear my seat belt.

i dont have a choice as my car reminds me every 30 seconds if i dont have it on. But without that i wouldnt wear it, i have this phobia of the car rolling over and me being unable to get out of it.

Yes, a lot of it is really cheap-o crap but there are aisles of things like detergents, candies, snacks, decorations, school supplies and toys for small children when they are at that age when cheap breakable crap is just as entertaining to them as toys costing $5-$10 elsewhere. You can really save a lot of money if you know how to shop there.

I went into Dollar General after that and everything is priced like a convenience store or gas station.

But things are not all rosey on that lowest level of the consumer chain. Dollar General is attempting hostile takeovers of Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, probably so they can jack up their prices and put them out of business.
Woah. Been hittin the bong lately, LC?

I'm not sure how the prices in Texas are compared to other states, but in Kentucky the Dollar General prices are pretty good. They have many items cheaper than Walmart. And I guess you and I see things a little differently. I believe Dollar General is trying to lure consumers away from WalMart. They are putting stores all over the place. They are putting stores in small communities, so they don't have to drive as far. We actually have two Dollar Generals in my small town. It's much easier to stop by one of those than to put up with the hassle of Walmart. I rarely go to Dollar Tree because it's right up next to Walmart. I still go for some things. When we lived in Phoenix we got most things from Dollar Tree because it was close, while WalMart was a farther distance. When it comes down to it, I'm probably going to favor Dollar General, because they are fairly local to me.

If you don't wear a seatbelt in a roll over, you'll be able to get out of your car much quicker than you'd like.

Luckily, I wore my seatbelt in my car wreck. If not, I'd be dead. I only got a small scratch on my head, I chipped my tooth a little, and I sprained my finger.

I am in this 97%. I just kind of feel like I am better than most of the people that shop there.

That was when I was 17. I did dumb things when I was 17. But I wasn't too dumb to wear a seatbelt.

Right on! You should have the god-given right as an American to die with your boots on and a steering wheel imbedded in your chest.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
