Default Schefter reports Raiders fire Dennis Allen

Saw this on my Facebook feed. This probably doesn't matter as the Raiders' season is done...and they're the Raiders. Still, it is a bit abrupt. It might be a boon in the sense that they can throw an interim in there and see if he has any potential.

    That's what you get. Turncoat.

I'm sure they are on the phone with Jack Del Rio as I post this.

Can't. That would be tampering. They would have to request permission. Isn't Sparano on that staff?

Either way, I love seeing Raider ineptitude. I hope they refuse to pay him, maybe we could have another Shanny in the works.

Decent coach but didn't stand a chance in Oakland. Terrible franchise that has made all the wrong moves as of late.

No coach has a chance in Oakland these days. I wouldn't take that job if I was a young coach. You could be ruined for a few years.

Someone on the Mane posted a Rapoport tweet that said the Raiders fired him over the phone.

Good to see that despite Al's passing, the class remains.

Good for Allen. Now he can get back to real coaching.

its always nice knowing, that despite losing the starting qb, etc. Rams still are better then the Raiders.

Now if only they would move to LA so kroenke could stop leveraging LA against the STL...

Yes, I wish the Rams would move back to LA as well. **** St. Louis. Terrible place.
