I've covered Chris about as closely as he's covered wide receivers across from him for the last four seasons. He comes on my show every other week and has been a mainstay on my program since he entered the league. I remember when he came in as an undrafted rookie, made the team, and ending up starting by mid-season. In week eight that year, he had 11 tackles and an interception out of the slot. I think we all knew at that point, that the Broncos had found a diamond in the rough.
For the last few years, he has graded out as the leagues best slot guy and has been so good in that role that people didn't really know just how good he was on the outside. Last year I called him the most underrated player in the NFL, along with Pete Prisco and a few others.
He's graded out as a top 10 corner by PFF the last two seasons but entered this season with some people doubting whether or not he would efficiently recover from an ACL tear in January. The results are in, folks. He's been exceptional.
He has not allowed a touchdown so far and he's only given up a total of 80 yards in three games with four pass breakups and an interception. But don't take my word for it; Chris Harris joined my show on Thursday and told me..............
