I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
Those were my college years so I had all this free time and very little money. Hey, I spared you guys the worst stuff like this James Taylor falsetto while ripping off a Beatles classic:

I will say this about Deee-Lite's "Groove Is In The Heart" (which came out in 1990 IIRC), it's the only song I've ever come across that became a hit while successfully merging elements of disco, rap and '60s psychodelia. They win points for creativity.
All in all, I'd still rather listen to disco than rap or hip hop. Most of today's stuff just flat out sucks. Even saying it sucks is too kind. They are to music what refrigerator art is to Rembrandt.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Oh and another one that fits this thread:
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
As usual, North never fails to disappoint.
I got mind control while I'm here
You goin' hate me when I'm gone
Ain't no blood clot and no fear
I got hope inside of my bones
I haven't clicked play on a single thing in this dung hole.
Black Hole it.
The Talking Heads song I posted is badass though.
