    Default Champions League

So, this is like if they put all of the division winners of the NFL in a cage and said 'go!'

    Right?

    TV guide says
    Dortmund v. Arsenal on FS1
    Liverpool v. Ludogorets on FS2
Real Madrid v. Basel on FS

After a five year absence from the CL I'm pumped.
I just hope we have a bit more spirit than at the weekend though, don't want to fall flat on our face to a team I've never heard of!

    Go Reds!

This is for Champions League discussions only. Man U can be discussed in the EPL thread.

I like to call it my OsamaBoat

Kind of rings with Islamabad. But I don't think it floats, there are a bunch of holes in it.

The thing I like about the World Cup is that I can easily understand the format.

I just don't get soccer's never-ending and simultaneous seasons... Plus all of the transfers and loans. Like, is Liverpool playing both EPL regular season and Champions League games? Why do you base the teams of the Champions league on the previous season when teams change from year to year?

Is Spain's pro season/schedule completely different from England's? Which is completely different from Germany's?

Everything is essentially August to May. And yes, everything is played simultaneously.
