What was the general feeling when they appointed McDoosh

Obviously I was not on the message board then and don't have any fellow fans in the UK. But I remember being really excited - I also loved his draft at the time (which even with hindsight was ok)

Were you guys hopeful our did you all not like the appointment from the start?

Initially, before he had a chance to do anything, I think most were excited and hopeful.

After the Cutler fiasco started, there were immediately two camps. Those that hated him, and those that were still hopeful. It was probably a 60-40 split with 60% unhappy with him.

The 6 game winning streak to open the season helped some, but gradually that 60-40 split continued moving in the wrong direction for McD until all but a few lonely and brave defenders remained. . After the 49er game in London and the revelation of cheating, I think everyone was happy to see him go.

I believe claymore was the lone soul who was against him from the start. He almost started to crack after that 6-0 start, but he soon regained his resolve.

I love him with all my heart.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Instead of dumping Tebow for Manning Elway'd of replaced Cutler with Manning. There's no Robert Ayers, no Tim Tebow, and therefor there's no legion of Joel NutJobs with Peyton Manning voodoo dolls whining about not being able to spend that $100 MM on some random KC RG that they've never actually seen play.

    Win/Win.

    Hated him from the start.

There are two camps, for the most part: one camp doing world class revisionists history in an effort to polish a world class turd, the other camp is right him being a world class turd.

Sounds like you're talking about Cutler

Potato, potahto. It's hard to believe the two didn't hit it off.

Jaded does not say much - but when he does, it is always on the money - and usually hilarious.

I will always appreciate Josh McDaniels for saving the Denver Broncos franchise by trading away Jay Cutler.

And I would also kill to have an offensive coordinator as good as him right now. Just look at what the Pats do offensively with so much less talent than we have.

Clearly you have very poor judgment.

This staff, from Fox on down, has shown some pretty admirable creativity and flexibility this year, especially in the last couple of games.. This situation could have gone sideways this season, esp. after the Rams game (and looked like it might), but they have done some pretty drastic readjustment. I couldn't be much happier with them as of 12/1/2014

Its a good thing we fired that ultra conservative coach we had. Now we can run fake punts and shit. Yay.
