Denver needs a D that can make plays and keep the score reasonable, I'll take those Int's and fumbles over the yards they give up. The 3rd-and-longs will even out as the pass rush develops.

Actually, they need gel to rub on their nether regions to ease the pain of what opposing offenses are doing to them.

Cement is always hardening. It is weakest when it is first poured. Del Rio is a concrete expert.

I hope so 'cause I'm starting to wonder about his defensive expertise.

Broncos D gave up 8/13 3rd down conversions. Smith took the underneath plays for 3-5 yards s constantly. Short pass after short pass plus a few runs along the way down the field. 18 play 10 minute drive for 90 yards.

Can't let the QB get ball out so quick or else the pass rush will never make it to him.

Yeah, I agree, and what the refs were doing too. Like calling PI on Harris for getting ran into.

This is the theory I'm going to go with. The Broncos are playing for the postseason. They figure these first two games are an extension of the preseason. They just need their starters to play a bit and get some points, and not lose.

Seattle will be a good reality check. I'm not going to fret until after I see what they look like in that game.

It's like we just put the jello in the fridge. Let's give it a little big so we can eat it. Not drink it. Eat it.

At times our D looks great and other times looks like a deer in headlights. We have a lot of good pieces to work with. I'm hopefully that we will eventually put together a complete effort. My biggest worry is that our play calling hasn't been great. This can still be a top 5 D.
