Default LB John Abraham leaves Cardinals

After suffering another concussion Monday night, Arizona Cardinals linebacker John Abraham has left the team, possibly for good, according to sources.

Abraham is suffering from severe memory loss and has been for well over a year, sources said. Abraham believes he needs to take time to get well.

Arizona placed him on leave, freeing up a temporary roster exemption that the team used to re-sign linebacker Marcus Benard.

I am glad my son doesn't play anymore. Abraham has been suffering for over a year and he just had another one? That's not good at all.

Unfortunately, it might be too late for him. I really hope not; I'm gonna pray for that man.

Just saw on the local sports news that Coach Arians is giving Abraham until the end of the 5 day concision protocol period to make up his mind.

    That's a dick move, imo.
