I think the NFL needs conclusive evidence before taking severe action. Any woman could make a claim against an NFL player (or any man for that matter) and completely destroy his career/name/reputation. There has to be a gray area. Not everything is as Black and White as MO wants it to be.
Jerry Jones would sign him, hell yes, it would bring more cameras and people to the circus
People should have the opportunity to change North. I am not advocating domestic violence in any way. A man should never put his hands on a woman period.
When I was a teenager I hit a woman. I was pretty shook up after it happened, and my father told me at the time that, "once an abuser always an abuser". Well, I never hit another woman again. I have turned into a loving husband who never asserts himself physically with his wife. I don't grab, restrain, nothing like that. I love and honor my wife.
If you were to ask my wife if she felt I was a risk for physical abuse she would laugh at you. I have never so much as even grabbed my wife. Someone who is a one time offender is not the same as someone who is a habitual offender, to say otherwise is a bit self-righteous.

They are blowing smoke in the way they release information about player misconduct. The NFL and the Ravens valued their ongoing income over doing what was right.
I'm glad someone is making boat-loads of money, good for them! I introduce it as a motive for protecting their image. It's their reason for being. It's the Commish's job.
It's just like BP and that oil spill. Deny reality and spin for max profit. Settle out of court for undisclosed figures. Launch the shiny PR campaign.
The trust of the innocent is the liar's most useful tool.

Im happy that you have changed since that incident even though im disappointed that you even did it in the first place. But nothing is going to prevent Ray from working on his issues but im also not inclined to reward him for things he has done either. NFL players make a lot of money and while he may come back down the road and play again i would rather he not be allowed back in the league. There are plenty of other jobs that he can do while getting the help he needs to be a better man. Again though, that is just my own personal outlook on it.
