Boise St. actually beat real teams during that stretch though. They usually played 1-2 tough teams in their non-conference. Marshall didn't play anyone this year. CUSA is really really bad, and they didn't play anyone out of conference.

The first selection committee poll has been released:

1. Mississippi State
2. Florida State
3. Auburn
4. Ole Miss

It makes me VERY happy to see that they are picking who they think are the best 4 teams and not just the best 4 conference winners. That absolutely is what they should do.

Kinda surprises me to see Ole Miss in the top 4, but not too big of a shock I guess. It's good to know that MSU could lose a game and still be in it.

I like that they have Ole Miss instead of Bama since they actually beat Bama. That Ole Miss would have to lose again before Bama leapfrogs them.

It seems like they are DEFINITELY putting a lot of weight on who you beat since a team like ND is #10.

Louisville literally masturbated all over themselves tonight. How many different ways can you blow a game. Pathetic. FSU won't lose again and they will be in the playoffs. What a shame.

When they went up 21-0 and playing at home, I thought they could hold on and cruise in going down the stretch. Just horrible football in the 2nd half.
