I finally did some good this last week and wondering how the tiebreaker worked in Seeing Red's favor. I nailed the highest scorer with the Broncos and my pick of the Rams of lowest score was only trumped by the Atlanta and their horrific 3 points. Seeing Red's tiebreaker had Indy as high scorer and J'ville as lowest score which both were not even close. EDIT: That is for 2nd tiebreaker. How do they figure 1st tiebreaker? I nailed the exact score for Cards vs SF. You think that would be bonus $! I need this for my resume so jump on it!

As I understand it, the first game you pick the score for is the main tiebreaker (usually the Monday night game). The second game you pick the score for is backup tiebreaker (usually the Sunday night game) and they only use the high and low scores as a backup if someone is still tied after the game scores are analyzed. If someone else knows more than I do please chime in.

Looked up the rules and here they are.

At the bottom of your picks page, you will see a series of tiebreaker questions, the results of which will be used as tiebreakers in the event of a tie between you and other Promotion Participants (each, a “Tiebreaker Pick”). You will be asked to predict the scores of two different games being played that week, and to predict which teams will score the most and the fewest points that week. Answers to these questions are not mandatory but it is in your best interests to provide them.

Weekly Tiebreakers: In the event that two or more Promotion Participants finish any Week of the Promotion with the same number of Promotion Points, the tie will be broken by applying the following tiebreakers, in order, until the tie is broken:

Closest to the total points for the first selected Tiebreaker Pick for that Week
Closest to the home team points for the first selected Tiebreaker Pick for that Week
Closest to the away team points for the first selected Tiebreaker Pick for that Week
Closest to the total points for the second selected Tiebreaker Pick for that Week
Closest to the home team points for the second selected Tiebreaker Pick for that Week
Closest to the away team points for the second selected Tiebreaker Pick for that Week
Closest to the highest scoring team of the Week
Closest to the lowest scoring team of the Week
Whichever player had more Promotion Points in the previous Week (or the Week before that if still tied, etc.)
End-of-Season Tiebreakers: In the event that two or more Promotion Participants finish the 2012 Regular Season with the same number of Promotion Points, the tie will be broken by applying the following tiebreakers, in order, until the tie is broken:

Number of Promotion Points earned in Week 17
Week 17 tiebreaker predictions (1-8 from “Weekly Tiebreakers,” above)
Number of Promotion Points earned in Week 16
Week 16 tiebreaker predictions (1-8 from “Weekly Tiebreakers,” above)
Number of Promotion Points earned in Week 15
Week 15 tiebreaker predictions (1-8 from “Weekly Tiebreakers,” above)
Week 14 through Week 1 tiebreaker predictions, as above

As expected with only four games on tap we go to the scorecard to sort it out. Tied with 4 correct are Canmore, Carol, Striving for 10th place, MasterShake, FaninAZ, SeeingRed and Sharkie. The winner is

In the overall standings it is still to tight to call. In first this week with 176 is Ziggy, second is MO with 175 and tied for third at 174 are Traveler and Chrisslot.

I did last minute switches to Carolina to seal the deal. Resume is now updated.

Well, I had a bummer, my picks didn't register. Remember doing them, don't remember hitting save picks, but I'm careful about that. Would have gone 1-1. Oh well.
