Thread: Tony Stewart kills driver in Sprint Cup race

There's a difference between the same thing happening on a Nascar Speedway and a dimly lit dirt track. Did Stewart have a radio in his helmet? Did he have a spotter at the top of the track? I genuinely don't know. I do think the track is much, much darker than a Nascar track. Also, they're on dirt and not asphalt. That's why the guy got bumped with the ass of the car. It look like Stewart swerved low and tried to avoid him. I'm guessing they were still going around 50 mph.

If this were Kyle Busch, I would be in the same boat with OB, showing my bias.

Aside from this tony stewart incident, Wish we didnt have to always watch nascar news embedded with other sports news. Its about as interesting as watching paint dry. And why do sunday morning sports talk shows always have to be about fishing and nascar?

ESPN wouldn't talk about it if the weren't many millions of people who found it interesting.

I did watch golf yesterday, only because I actually play the sport lol Otherwise it would totally blow. I guess I can see the fascination with nascar, simply because we all drive cars

You're swerving into the debate about what is a sport and what is not. I start with the "big four" (Football, Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey) and probably add soccer and cricket just because so much of the world does.

But don't ask the Olympics to sort this out. They include ice dancing and the X Games junk but do not include baseball or American football.

And why are poker tournaments a staple of cable sports but bridge tournaments are not?
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

You can see this Stewart incident spawning a whole cash crop of conspiracy theories. Tony Stewart-Murderer...Given that he seems to already have tons of enemies, Im sure they will be shouting that at him from now on

How far do you live from the Texas Motor Speedway? Has to be pretty close.
