GB had their chances. Lucky for Wilson their defense stepped up when they did.

With 4 minutes left and they intercept the ball and just slide and call three run plays and not even try to get a first down. JMHO. It's playoff football. GB got the lead and tried to sit on it and played not to lose.

5 turnovers and you still win. That's just crazy. Luckiest team is absolutely right.

That's just one thing a cascading series of failures. For me, the writing was on the wall on the 3rd and 19 play where they let Wilson have over 10 seconds to throw the ball, which set up the fake FG touchdown. After that, the Defense lost their edge.

I don't think Pete Carrol gets nearly enough credit. Over the last few years he's been one of (if not the) best coaches in the NFL.

You could use this as a lesson to never, ever give up....something we seem to have lost these last few years.

It was a amazing game, but I just hate Seattle so much....

I wonder what packers boards must look like. Lots of suicide proclamations I suppose. I feel your pain little buddies. You guys probably just need to R.E.L.A.X

Wow, TOTAL meltdown in a game GB OWNED on offense, defense and STs for 55:00. Hate to say it, but I think they just got outcoached at the end. I mean, I know all the three-and-out runs to kill the clock wore down their D, but: You SHUT OUT Wilson and Lynch for 55:00 (remember, the first TD was a fake punt) then give up THREE STRAIGHT TD DRIVES?! The guy with two Ints and PERFECT position on the 2 PAT doesn't even TRY to make a play, so the receiver bobbles it but walks in untouched anyway? That play ALONE could've won the game, but—nope....

Just got an email from my Packer-fan best friend: He's comparing Clinton-Dixs "meh, just the game-winner" non-play to Rahim Moores Fail Mary in 2012.

Go, Colts, I guess, though Irsay will be insufferable if they pull off a championship: "See, I was right to dump the guy who pulled our franchise out of a multi-decade crapper and took it back to its ONLY Championship since 1970—and we even ended his career in route to this one!"
Oh, valid point. I thought you meant all starters, you should take the time to be more descriptive, don't be shy. Jaded

I think if the defender runs for yardage and the offense there plays not to lose and gets a first down or two, then GB is in the Super Bowl. I think that was the turning point. But you're right you can't let a QB have ten seconds to throw on 3rd and 19. The fourth quarter GB played not to lose. You can get away with it sometimes in the regular season, but not in the playoffs.
