Red Rocks is such a great venue to see concerts at. I miss going there.

We went to MoPop here in Seattle by the Space Needle a month ago. It’s pretty cool. My wife and I want to go back. Too much to see in just the couple hours we were there. There’s also a cool outdoor venue to watch random local bands play.

The Janes Addiction/Smashing Pumpkins show last night at Ball arena was one for the ages. Few rando pics I took:

I hadn't seen Jane's since 2009 and they somehow had MORE energy last night. Poppy, the opener, was interesting too. Pumpkins absolutely killed it and the crowd was into it. All you can ask from a Monday night concert in November!

Been a casual fan of Muse since about 2007 but never bothered to see them until last night because my son is a HUGE fan. It was a mistake to sleep on these guys, what a performance! Great to see theatrics again. Here is a short IPA-fueled clip of part of the show where a giant resistance puppet wearing a mirrored mask to reflect society is scanning the crowd as fires go off everywhere:

    Confetti!

Giant creepy puppet with hypno hand disc!

    Fascist Demon Armor Puppet thing!

I like a handful of songs from them, they have a wide range which is cool. Hope they played "Take a Bow", one of my favorite tracks from them.

They didn’t play that or Exo-politics (my favorite) but they did play stuff like Super Massive Black Hole and some other big hits. I’m surprised how hard some of the hard rock stuff sounded, it was great!

    That's a lot of black.

Be a rebel and wear a colored shirt next time. I triple dog dare you.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

    Lol

Missy had a co-worker who showed up and is starting to get into metal music. He was wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
