    I guess.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Know what's going to be hilarious? Seeing fans of teams in contention for LeBron suddenly pretending they don't hate him and slobbering all over him trying to get him to their town.

They need to dump Lin's contract before they can do anything

I agree. He doesn't need a 20 million a year salary if he wants to win. He needs depth around him. Is that what you're thinking Coach? Will Wade do the same thing?

Could he be doing this so Miami will give him more money?

The most money he can get is if he remains with the team and they sign him to a new deal, so no. He wants to win.

Here's a question for you guys. What do you think would do more for his reputation/legacy? If he went somewhere else (say LA or Houston) and won 3 more titles to tie Kobe and Duncan for the best in this era, or if he went back to Cleveland and just won one title, finally bringing a title to his hometown.

I almost think the second option would do more for him.

That's what I think as well. I think it's a tool to get players down in Miami. He makes less and they pick up others players.

Could he end up with Melo? James like to pass the ball and Melo likes to get passed to so he can slow down the clock and take shots.

Bron Bron. Mello. Dwight Howard. Harden.

LeBron did this so it gives Miami the chance to make their moves. If Wade opts out, its a VERy good sign for Miami as they can restructure both their contracts. However, Wade is getting up there and he's guaranteed a lot of money right now. Opting out would be giving away money that he'll NEVER get back.

The LeBron haters are clamouring for something to dislike, but when he signs another franchise friendly contract that helps the team sign a supporting cast (unlike Kobe), it's just going to be that much HARDER for them to find something (other than that just TERRIBLE, horrible, thing he did by making a decision to leave Cleveland).

Melo won't end up being a piece that Miami adds.
