So when you guys make a sandwich do you spread the condiment (if there is one) on both pieces of the bread or just one side?

Mayo (or the like) on one slice, mustard on the other.

Both sides, if it's a delicious condiment.

Both sides unless it's a PB&J in which case each item needs to be isolated to its own piece of bread. My mom used to make PB&Js and put both the PB and the J on one piece of bread -- which was truly insane.

See I am a both sides guy but my wife does one side. So if she is making a sandwich for me I have to remind her of that.

I get it, but this is what he said. Maybe I'm misinterpreting it?

I am now reminded of this article about how nba players like to make their pb&j.

I put pb on one slice of bread, jelly on the other slice, and then combine.

It seems there are some weird people who put the pb on one slice, put jelly on top of the pb on the same slice, and then put the plan slice of bread on top. That is crazy talk.

OK - that makes a little more sense. I like a lot of peanut butter on my PBJ's, so I can see that rational.
