Sorry, I kind of mixed up two thoughts. Receivers don't flop as much as they pretend their feet got tangled or the defender arrived too early. I don't think they "flop" the helmet-to-helmet stuff but it was an example of officials seeing what they thought they saw based on the player reaction and not reality.

Receivers who constantly beg for flags are annoying.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

looks like you got some nice dialogue here AzFan, I say basketball, but haven't watched a lot of the soccer since lately. seemed like some of the penalties called were pretty soft.

Ive never watched soccer. Have no idea what is happening. I just know they cant play rough at all so theres bound to be a lot of acting going on. "Owww! He hurt me!!!" lol

that's what it looked like to me DZone. some of what I would call incidental contact was being called. but then again, I believe defenders should use hands if necessary. that's just how I roll

Yes Dave! Absolutely the high jump! I get what youre saying. Dick Fosbury's flop was of legendary proportions. Changed his sport forever. The Fosbury Flop became part of the international lexicon. Nobody does the side straddle hop anymore. Everybody floppin now. Dick Fosbury-Legendary flopper. GFOAT
