When I lived in Europe the locals had a joke-
Why is American Beer like having sex in a canoe?

Because it's fuggin' close to water.

I'm all about the local brews

Great divide is my company of choice. There Hercules double IPA and yeti are very tasty. The big show 12 pack that includes the Hercules is my selection of choice.

I also like Odell's seasonal selections in there double pilsner and chocolate milk stouts are also very good.

I prefer hard cider but if I want something cheap Milwaukee's Best. I don't like a lot of bitterness.

I really don't mean to be a beer snob. It's just that when you acquire a taste for craft beer macrobrews don't taste good. They're also not much more affordable than craft beer which is a lot better for you.

What kind of beer do you like slim?

It doesn't get much cheaper than that. It's usually either that or Coors lite which is pretty watered down.

I'm a big fan of Belgian whites. My favorite right now are Hoegaarden and Vittekirk.

hoegaarden is always good on a hot day. Bavarian Hefeweizens are really good too man. Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier is probably my favorite, give it a try. A decent American brewery version of a Bavarian Hefe is Sierra Nevada's Kellerweiss.

Krombacher Weizen Bier was my favourite German, but i also loved Herforder Pils - a local brewery that unfortunately i do not believe export.
