Might not make it to the fence after we play a game of Knockout.

I'd pay money to see some idiot try the Knockout game with a 260lb football player.

I think this is totally a mistake on Sam's part. After he came out, and just before the draft, he kept saying that all he wants to do is play football in the NFL. IMO, he does not need to do stuff like this to bring more attention to himself.
You would be right if he was truly more concerned about football. This whole circus has been about him and nothing else. He knew his chances of being drafted were almost nil, so he played the "I'm gay" card to make the issue about something other than his football ability.

The Oprah circus serves his personal ambitions to a tee. The team and the NFL be damned. And if you don't like it or agree with it, you're a homophobe.

He was given a third to fifth round grade by a lot of analysts. So no, your point about him knowing he had no chance of being drafted is moot.

He also dropped the television show, which is a strange thing to do for someone who is so selfish.

I'm also curious, who has he called a homophobe? Where has he shown that his attitude is NFL be damned? I mean really, can you actually substantiate a single thing you just posted?

I didn't say he had no chance so no it isn't moot. I said his chances of being drafted were almost nil, something that a lot of analysts thought could happen.

The publicity is the same whether he does the show or not, so it doesn't change the selfish argument.

I didn't say HE called anyone a homophobe. I said that those who don't agree with his situation is called a homophobe. Just check this thread or any news story for proof. Or better yet, ask Don Jones.

I mean really, can you actually substantiate a single thing you just posted?
    Yes, I can.
