Aaron Hernandez Indicted for 2012 Double Murder

Ill say it again, such a waste.
I thought this might be about OJ Simpson at first. No offense to Aaron Hernandez, but I don't think he's earned the moniker "The criminal."
Were there any known "red flags" in his past before he was drafted?

The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

rest - http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200...know-back-thenIt's been nearly four years since I wrote, for the Boston Globe, that a number of positive drug tests led to Aaron Hernandez's precipitous fall in the 2010 NFL Draft.
This isn't revisionist history. Personnel directors and execs said then, in the days immediately after that draft, that the Florida tight end likely would've been a low first- or high second-round pick otherwise.
But there were whispers at the time, too, that Hernandez was caught up in more serious things. The word "gang" was bandied about in conversation. Since team officials I talked to at the time said it never really went past the rumor stage, we decided, in print, to stay away from it. What was obvious was this was a guy, with drugs and otherwise, who had a way of getting himself into and then out of trouble.

NOTHING BUT RED FLAGS - even before getting accepted to college - Florida did everything they could to keep him out of "trouble" or I should say to keep the trouble from making it to the press
Its quite a shame - home being from Bristol CT and all - I lived there for a few years - its not a bad town at all - but David Drive is for sure the ghetto of the town - i just dont see it as being so "thuggish" - I never felt unsafe there but that was also alomost 20 years ago too
Yes BB knew he was a murderer and drafted him anyway! BB is the devil!!!
Hernandez shot these two people in July 2012. He signed his 5 yr. extension w/ NE a month later in Aug 2012. Therefore, he did not sign the contract in good faith and NE should prevail in withholding the bonus money for which the NFLPA is fighting.
Just another example of the cesspool that Boston sports has become.
Let's Rid3!!!!
I would have KILLED to have his talent when I was his age.
Sorry, poor choice of words.

"Oh I’m sorry, did I break your concentration?”
Jules Winnfield - Pulp Fiction
He shot that dude in the head in Florida. They knew.
Since when is 14 years a legacy? Well wait - when did you last win a Super Bowl? Seriously. Boston has tremendous history. Sports victories have only been the last decade of a 3 century history and most of those are questionable.
